I've been grateful enough to work alongside such talented artists and musicians throughout my career who I would not be here without. Additionally, a big thank you to my family both gifted and chosen that have supported me at every step of the way.
I started writing original music in middle school and though those first tracks largely consisted of angsty ballads about love I had not yet experienced, once I got to high school I was proud enough of my tracks that I took them to Dogmanic Recording Studios. There through the course of my junior and senior year I released "Daniel Gallup" (EP) and "In Simpler Terms" (LP)
After putting music on the back burner and pursuing and obtaining a Political Science degree from UF, I rediscovered my first love through reuniting with my high school band. From that reunion came a collaboration with my longtime guitarist, Lucas Kohen, who produced this EP. On this record the featured musicians are myself, Lucas, and Mack Tracy. The songs are all from the heart and available now
One of the joys of my life was reuniting with my high school band this past Memorial Day weekend at the Driftwood Bar & Grill in Vero Beach. This band is where I cut my teeth and truly learned what it means to be a musician. This event was unknowingly poignant as our fearless leader and teacher Mr. Wicker passed away shortly after. His inspiration lives on in all of our music.
